Last week, 4th grade students finished the first unit of Science (Living things) and they started a project about food chains. In the following pictures you can appreciate their hard work and all they have learned about animals in different ecosystems.
First of all we decided which ecosystem we wanted to learn about, then each person in the group had to bring to the class a picture of a plant, an herbivore or two carnivores to complete the food chain. Finally they wrote the name of the ecosystem, drew a sun and stuck the pictures on the cardboards in order.
