Food chains

Last week, 4th grade students finished the first unit of Science (Living things) and they started a project about food chains. In the following pictures you can appreciate their hard work and all they have learned about animals in different ecosystems.

First of all we decided which ecosystem we wanted to learn about, then each person in the group had to bring to the class a picture of a plant, an herbivore or two carnivores to complete the food chain. Finally they wrote the name of the ecosystem, drew a sun and stuck the pictures on the cardboards in order.

Prehistory and Roman times

Hello everyone! This last term the students of 5th grade have done a project related to Prehistory and the Roman times. We have used a program called Pixton to create these comics. We hope that you enjoy them.

Good afternoon families!

Avui hem après que Paul Klee va ser un pintor (a painter). Les seves obres semblaven extretes d'un somni (a dream). En ells podem veure molta varietat de colors (colours).

A continuació, podeu tornar a veure amb els vostres fills el vídeo que hem posat a la classe per presentar aquest pintor i la seva tècnica. 

Als nens i nenes els ha agradat molt i s'han engrescat a fer, amb molt esforç i paciència, un dels quadres de Paul Klee: SENECIO. Podreu veure a sota del vídeo una fotografia de la obra original i algunes imatges de la feina que estan fent aquests petits grans artistes!

Dear Families!!!

Ja hem acabat la English Week i hem passat uns dies d’allò més divertits. L’eix principal ha estat conèixer les diferents regions del Regne Unit. Cada classe ha pogut aprofundir en una d’aquest països: Scotland, England, Northern Ireland i Wales.

Hem practicat molt l’anglès a partir de diferents activitats lúdiques i educatives. A més a més hem conegut les parts més representatives de cada zona i hem pogut prendre consciència sobre altres estils de vida.

Scotland 3r A

Durant les últimes setmanes, d’acord amb la temàtica de la English Week, a 3erA hem treballat Escòcia: hem parlat sobre la regió que ocupa i la seva bandera, les Highlands i el “Nessie”, la seva música tradicional i les “Bagpipes”, alguns menjars típics i els clans que dominaven la zona fa uns quants centenars d'anys... I per descobrir tot això ens ho hem passat molt bé realitzant un munt d'activitats com les que podeu veure en aquest vídeo!
