The water cycle

Last week, students from 6th grade C and D worked together on the "Water Cycle". The class was divided in groups. After a couple of days doing some research on the topic using the school laptops, they came out with great ideas! Most of them decided to create models and posters. Some others decided to make power point presentations. They all presented their creations in front of the class and explained the water cycle. They had a lot of fun and, above it all, they learnt a lot. Good job!

We learned that the Earth's water is always in movement! The water cycle describes the continuous movement of water on, above, and below the surface of the Earth.
In 6th A and B some students made a wheel with the most important words of the water cycle. Other students created a mini water cycle using a bowl, a mug, some plastic wrap and rubber band to show how evaporation, condensation and precipitation occur in a closed system. Finally, some of our pupils who love singing used the music to learn about the hydrological cycle and how it works.
