Thanksgiving dinner

Did you have turkey for thanksgiving dinner? Poor Tomassy! watch this Casper cartoon

Casper wants to make friends but he can’t because he is a ghost. He scares everyone. He was walking on a field when suddenly he saw a turkey in a farm. The turkey’s name was Tomassy. He was nervous because he was going to be eaten that night. But Casper came up with an idea. He was going to help Tomassy to lose weight and be healthy so as not to be eaten. What do you think he is going to do to be healthy? After a while, the farmer came to the farm to take Tomassy and make a roast turkey. Will Tomassy succeed in getting thin enough or will he be killed?

Dear students, we want to suggest you a new activity: riddles! We'll post one riddle each month. On the right part of the blog you'll see the link. Click on the picture, read the riddle and try to solve it. Then, tell the workshop teacher the answer when you are sure. The ones who solve the riddle will be posted here at the end of the month. Casper the friendly ghost special Halloween

Casper wants to make friends but he can’t because he is a ghost. He scares everyone. He was looking for friends when suddenly he saw a costume party in a house. Through the window, he watched the people who were dancing. Then, when he was going to join the people, he stepped into a white paint box and covered his leg with paint. And then, he had an idea. What do you think his idea was? He decided to dress up as ghost! He covered his body with white paint and join the party, where he played games and danced with the people. Did the people realize that Casper is a real ghost? What do you think is going to happen next?

On October 31st we celebrate halloween!

St Patrick's Day. What are you wearing?

Today is St Patrick's day! We are dressed in green because green clothing give us good luck. Green is also the color of the Irish Flag, the spring, the Irish landscape (trees, grass...) and the shamrock and clover.

Irish children began the tradition of pinching people who forgot to wear green on St. Patrick's Day.

Pancake Day: What would you like on your pancake?

Pancake day

Paula, Ferran, Berta Navarrete and Berta Ladaga, Judith, Asier and Albert brought pancakes that had made at home the day before Pancake Day. Berta Ladaga made green pancakes. She told us that they were made with green food coloring; which is used to dye the pancake batter and make jokes!

Besides that, Albert brought melted chocolate and Asier did the same with rainbow sprinkles and chocolate sprinkles! Raquel (2B teacher) helped the children to add the toppings on the pancakes. On tuesday, also known as “Shrove Tuesday”, they had a special snack for the playground.

This is Jan (2B) showing the pile of pancakes served on a dish and the recipe he used to make the pancakes. Enjoy your meal!

This is Paula (2C) ready to add caramel and melted chocolate on the pancakes. Yummy yummy!

This is Berta (2C) teaching us how to make pancakes. She will be for sure a great cook!

"Billy Banjo" play

3rd Grade students are getting ready to watch the play "Billy Banjo" (IPA Productions company)

"Billy is an innocent musician. His wife, Kate, on the other hand, calls him o no-good lazy bones. Tried of being por, Kate throws Billy out of the house and tells him to go find his fortune. With the help of his banjo, the audience and a mysterious bandit, Billy tries to make 1000 and win back his beloved Kate"
